Description

Applications are sought for the fixed term 0.4 FTE post of Lecturer (Above the Bar) in Clinical Psychology, to fulfil teaching, research, and clinical coordination duties on the Doctor of Psychological Science in Clinical Psychology programme. Applicants must hold a professional qualification in clinical psychology recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland and will hold a doctoral-level qualification in psychology (which may have been obtained as part of the professional qualification). Suitable applicants will also have prior teaching and clinical supervision experience, a record of relevant research, and proven administrative capabilities.

Skills Requirements

Essential Requirements: A qualification in clinical psychology recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland. Normally, a doctoral-level qualification in Psychology (which may have been obtained as part of the professional qualification). Substantial experience of supervising clinical psychology trainees. Some experience of teaching on a clinical psychology programme. Some experience in the design, implementation, and publication of research relevant to clinical psychology.
