Foróige have recently acquired access to, management and use of the Espoir Kayak Club located at Seapoint in South Co. Dublin. The club will be used to enable disadvantaged young people to engage in structured and accredited Kayaking courses as well as once off taster sessions and a means of encouraging young people to explore and develop their skills through a new challenging sporting activity. The Outdoor Education Instructor will work alongside the Youth Officer / Instructor who will oversee and coordinate the programme of activities on site.
The successful applicant will have the following essential requirements;
A QQI or Third level qualification in Outdoor Education or a related area or significant relevant work experience.
Recognised kayaking NGB Instructor qualification.
A current First Aid qualification.
