Ussher Assistant Professor in Biochemistry. An opportunity exists for an outstanding Biochemist to join the faculty of the School of Biochemistry and Immunology. The School is a recognised centre of excellence for enzymology, metabolism and structural biology research and is a world reference point for Immunology research. It is also recognised for its excellence in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. The successful candidate will be based in the Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute, which houses many of TCDs leading biomedical and interdisciplinary research groups. The appointed individual will be actively engaged in researching a frontier area of Biochemistry such as Molecular Therapeutics, which will contribute to further enhancing the international reputation of the School in Biochemistry. Appointment will be made at a maximum of the 8th point of the New Assistant Professor Merged Salary Scale.
