Description

The School of Engineering is seeking to appoint an Ussher Assistant Professor in Energy Systems for Smart Cities. The post also relates to a major thematic area – Sustainable Energy Systems in E3 (Engineering, Energy and the Environment) initiative of Trinity College. A basic degree in Engineering with a PhD in the area of renewable energy is essential. The applicant should have a proven track record in research. Experience in the areas of modelling, control, optimisation and grid integration of renewable energy systems; building energy systems and control; real-time hybrid testing for renewable energy systems is desirable. Appointment will be made at a maximum of the 8th point of the New Assistant Professor Merged Salary Scale.
