Description

The Role/Duties – Acting as a member of the design team, helping to ensure projects are delivered to the timescales, quality and costs agreed with the client. – Preparation of technical reports and tender documents including design calculations and specifications. – In conjunction with senior staff, attend onsite meetings with the client and other professionals. – Demonstrate compliance with the relevant Building Control and Safety & Health legislation through effective report writing and record keeping. – Working with AutoCAD software to prepare Civil / Structural and/or Architectural detailed drawings.

Skills Requirements

Skills/Qualifications – An appropriate Honours Degree qualification. – Minimum of 5 years industry experience with a good knowledge of residential construction ideally including SUDs drainage design. – A high level of computer literacy including AutoCAD and Microsoft Office skills. – Key attributes also necessary include efficient work methods, working both as part of team and on own initiative. – The ability to manage several priorities at once will be required.
