Well established Mechanical Contractor require a Mechanical Estimator to carry out the following services: Estimating material, construction and labour costs for a multitude of jobs from small scale domestic to larger industrial projects. Record and manage construction costs as each project progresses. Cost control of works and completing projects within budget. Preparing tender and contract documents including BOQs, quotations and tenders. Identify, price and agree project variations/dayworks. Preparation of monthly project valuations and invoices. Settlement of final accounts with clients. Degree or higher in quantity surveying/estimating. Experience in mechanical sector (not essential, but preferred). Ability to produce tenders & quotations to a professional standard. Excellent computer literacy including all Microsoft Office applications especially Excel.
