Engineering company specialising in the supply of equipment to the meat industry require the services of an Electrician. Experience in panel building, industrial machinery and PLCs would be essential – such experience is critical to the position. Ability to programme PLCs is also essential. Experience of hydraulics and pneumatics would be a distinct advantage. Typically required to carry out electrical duties on a range of machinery, mostly handling machinery for food processing industry: Assemble, test, repair, troubleshoot, install, remove, re-locate, commission; also maintenance of our own factory equipment. Other Skills / Qualifications desired: Safepass, Full Clean Driving Licence. Willing to travel on site visits to assist installations in Ireland and overseas. Personal Characteristics: Can work independently or as part of a team. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Able to communicate efficiently with customers/colleagues/suppliers.
