Description

Overall responsibility for assessing the relevant legacy production equipment for compliance. Identify the equipment that will require CE making. Identify applicable requirements of the machine directive and standards for self-declaration; Assess equipment for conformity, provide gap analysis and support any necessary upgrades and modifications; Compile technical documentation and complete all appropriate testing and risk assessments prior to making final conformity declaration;

Skills Requirements

Electrical/instrumentation qualification with a sound mechanical background Minimum of 10 years industrial experience in a regulated environment highly desirable Excellent knowledge of CE marking requirements, (ISO 13849, IEC 62061, Machine Directive 2006/42/EC) Experience of completing CE marking on new and existing equipment with an excellent knowledge of Safety, Health and Welfare at Work regulations.
