Description

We are currently seeking applications for a motivated individual to work within the engineering function of the business. The Companys main activity is the design and manufacture of high quality agricultural machinery. The position is available for an Engineer with previous experience in design and assembly. It is a hands on role which requires the candidate to work on individual projects with responsibilities including, the design of components, liaising with production and fabrication and ensuring the final correct assembly and function of the product. The candidate will also be required to perform quality checks/functional tests and meet required quality standards in all products. It is important that the candidate be reliable, punctual and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Other duties will include liaising with customers and suppliers and the ability to work with all stakeholders in a positive professional manner befitting of Company requirements

Skills Requirements

Candidate should hold the following as a minimum: Diploma in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering. Proficient in the use of Solidworks. Relevant experience. Ideal candidate will have experience of working with agricultural machinery and a very good knowledge of the Hydraulic, Electrical and Pneumatic installations on such machines. The candidate should also have excellent communication skills.
