Responsible for ensuring all maintenance tasks are performed in accordance with the defined specifications and procedures.Maintain plant & services at Client sites within the HP Contract, providing on time planned and reactive maintenance as per HVCA & CIBSE.To ensure plant and equipment breakdowns are kept within the set targets to achieve optimum plant availability.Ensure mechanical and electrical defects are kept within the set targets to reduce inconvenience to Client staff and operations.In conjunction with our Clients carry out regular inspections & report on fabric defects.To assist our Clients and carry out portable appliance testing of equipment to the program.Administer sub-contractors and supplier information, keeping records up to date and accurate, i.e. receipt of Method/Risk Assessments prior to commencement of job, insurance documentation. Investigate and advise of new works/requests and upgrades including quotes.
Skills Requirements
A qualification in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering or at least a 17th Edition Qualification with a good understanding and knowledge of Mechanical aspects.Good knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety.Experience. Previous experience of supervising contractors.A minimum of 5 years engineering/technical experience.General office skills, keyboard and work processing skills essential with a good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Power point and databases an advantage.
