Job Description Driver & Labour Recruit Ltd are currently seeking applications for a motivated individual to work within the engineering function of the business. The Company s main activity is the design and manufacture of high quality agricultural machinery. The position is available for an engineer with previous experience in design and assembly. It is a hands on role which involves working on all stages of a product, from research and development to design and manufacture, through to installation and final assembly & commissioning. The candidate will also be required to perform quality checks/functional tests and meet required quality standards in all products. It is important that the candidate be reliable, punctual and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Other duties will include liaising with customers and suppliers and the ability to work with all stakeholders in a positive professional manner befitting of Company requirements.

Skills Requirements

Skills Requirements: Candidate should hold the following as a minimum:Diploma in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering; Proficient in the use of Solidworks; Relevant experience; Methodical approach to all duties and the ability to consider all aspects such as cost, safety, time constraints, customer requirements and Company valuesIdeal candidate will have experience of working with agricultural machinery and a very good knowledge of the Hydraulic, Electrical and Pneumatic installation.
