Irish Pressings is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer. The company supplies parts to the automotive industry with end customers including BMW, Rolls Royce, General Motors and Honda.A minimum of two years experience is required for this position. Applicants must be able to show experience in this type of work and provide references based on this experience. Experience in the use of equipment and machinery required for the job is also essential. Knowledge of PLCs and automation is essential. Candidates must have good knowledge of the latest materials and techniques. Candidates must have experience in the building and assembly of machines. Candidates must also be able to work on their own initiative and be capable of recording and monitoring their data.

Skills Requirements

Applicants must have a good level of organisational skills and be able to plan their own work in order to meet required timings. Knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft applications is essential. Applicants must be able to work on their on initiative and also be competent in working as a part of a team.
