Electrician -St. Michael’s House Services Maintenance Department

St. Michael’s House is a Service Provider to over 1600 people with Intellectual Disability. Services are provided in a mixture of Residential, Day and Educational facilities. Admin and clinical bases are provided through 3 Regional Offices. 80% of St. Michael’s House Services are on the North-side of Dublin City with 20% being on the South-side of Dublin City. The successful Candidate Will be required to work with other craft workers and support staff as part of the Maintenance Department Team, the job involves maintenance & repair duties in the built environment where other frontline and admin support staff work.

Applications are invited for the following full-time 2 year Electrician Role

Essential Criteria:

Hold a minimum of Leaving Certificate and a recognised Trade qualification.
Must be RG11 approved.
Hold a valid “Safe Pass” card
A minimum of three years experience as a fully qualified Electrician
Class B driving licence

In addition, candidates are required to have:

They will also be required to have their own hand tools and be willing to use their own vehicle to carry out their duty. The successful candidate will receive a mileage allowance (non taxable) in line with HSE guidelines.

Salary Scale: Successful candidates will be paid in line with HSE consolidated Craftsperson pay scale (€31352.00 to € 36855.00)
