Description

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will manage and run extrusion trials and develop extrusion process for new product /product iterations and new technology to demonstrate capability and key performance metrics. The key responsibilities include the identification, specification, introduction, management and validation of new equipment and technologies in the extrusion area, providing technical input and leadership on problem solving, resolution of technical processing issues and implementation of process improvements in the extrusion department. Other responsibilities of the role include product line support for extrusion, documentation of extrusion equipment and processes, validation of extrusion product/technology and process, control of new product/process/technology introductions or changes and maintaining records in accordance with the Vention quality system to the requirements of ISO 13485 and FDA21CFR.

Skills Requirements

The candidate will require technical aptitude, strong extrusion and polymer experience including the development of complex multi-lumen and multi-layer extrusion processes and introduction of new extrusion lines/equipment. Good organizational, communication, analytical, and excellent problem solving skills are also required. The successful candidate will be an energetic individual, well organized, self-motivated with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and motivate others.
