Description

Purpose of role: To provide technical support to the business and end user if necessary and provide an efficient estimating service to the Branch Network. Key Responsibilities: Provide quotations for jobs to either Branch Managers, Heat Merchants Business Development Managers (BDMs), and direct to customer as we build our client base. Prepare and submit professionally prepared quotations to customers in an agreed excel format with the requested specification priced and an additional value engineered tab that provides a second option for the contractor that can save them money. Liaise with Regional Managers to ensure that BDMs have followed up on the quotation and obtain feedback as to whether won / lost and reasons why. Liaise with field sales staff to value engineer, assess quotations and convert to finalized sales. Assess and select best fit product offering from a Heat Merchants Group point of view.

Skills Requirements

Possess a Building Services Engineering Qualification. Be a proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite and in particular Excel. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Have the ability to demonstrate that he/she is customer focused and results/target driven. Hold a full valid drivers license. It would be advantageous if candidates had some experience/product knowledge in the heating and plumbing industry.
