Carry out/supervise materials testing in compliance with UKAS and relevant Irish, British and EU Standards, completing work sheets correctly and providing quality reports where required to do so. Familiarise yourself with the company QA system and ensure all activities under your control comply with it. Supervise junior technicians and temporary staff when they are under your control (both on site and in the lab). Sign and check worksheets. Ensure that you do not run of test consumables or equipment. Advise Team Leader of training requirements of technicians and temporary staff.
