Description
Develop and implement programs to ensure that all buildings, systems, equipment, and work areas are in efficient working conditions ensuring a safe work place that is compliant with company procedures and relevant regulations. Plan, direct, and oversee the building facility operations and services including vendor management. Responsible for developing, maintaining and reporting on a variety of performance measures. Propose, implement, and facilitate using continuous improvement tools such as: Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc. to drive improvements. Conduct performance appraisals for direct reports as well as provide guidance and support on career development and growth. Support and maintain environmental compliance within the facility, including hazardous waste management, storage, and shipment. Skills Requirements
Delivering on agreed KPI s of plant availability, effectiveness and costs. Preparation and control of the plant engineering budget. Responsible for the project management of capital projects. Educated to Degree level in an Engineering discipline. Strong MS Office skills, incl MS Project. Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role preferably within a Medical Device/Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (PEMAC)
