Description

The Plant Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of maintenance of production equipment and machinery and ensure compliance with statutory and legal regulatory requirements. Manage planned preventative maintenance programmes, manage the Plant Maintenance Budget, ensure good relationships with internal/external customers and contractors, carry out maintenance repair work and ensure the appropriate PPE is worn, assume responsibility for Quality Mgmt, Health & Safety, ensure that equipment is maintained on a regular basis to prevent downtime and Commissioning of new equipment.

Skills Requirements

1. Industrial Engineering/Technical qualification, 2. Qualified Electrician; 3. experience in fault finding and preventative maintenance, 4. structured approach to problem-solving, 5. background in high-volume food sector manufacturing or a similar environment, 6. Experience of Quality Systems and Health & Safety and 6. Ability to work on their own initiative.
