PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES: SAP Business ByDesign is a fully integrated business management software solution designed for midsize companies or small businesses that want the benefits of large-scale business applications without the need for a large IT-infrastructure. SAP Business ByDesign has an open position for the role of a Support Engineer – Development Support. Located in Galway, the SAP ByDesign Development Support Team is currently seeking applications for the role of a Support Engineer (Development Support). As a Support Engineer (Development Support) you will handle SAP Business ByDesign customer issues and communicate with customers and partners to identify, understand and solve product-specific problems. Close collaboration with internal & external stakeholders is required. Expectations and Tasks: The suitable candidate must ramp up quickly on SAP technical aspects (ABAP) and handle customer issues independently, on time, and with quality.
Skills Requirements
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Commercial Information Technology, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering/related field. JAVA, XML and/or ABAP knowledge required. Excellent Object Orientated Programming Skills. Business process, ERP application knowledge are a plus. Fluent written and oral English. 0 – 4 years Development Support/Software Development experience. Experience in ABAP Development with SOA Architecture an advantage. Profound knowledge of ABAP OO is a strong advantage.
