Technical Coordinator – Exova Ireland Ltd – Co. Cork

This new role will be crucial to develop our customer service by acting as a technical interface & customer champion to ensure customer requirements are clearly understood & communicated to staff & partner labs. Main responsibilities include: Provide technical support to customers to assist with definition of testing requirements to meet their industry/legal obligations. Collate relevant technical & service requirements from customers in relation to such projects & effectively communicate this to all relevant parties. Project manage & proactively track progress of multiple jobs/projects both internally & with partner labs. Work closely with all labs on customer projects to ensure on time delivery. Develop strong working relationships with key accounts & assist with account management including sales. Co-ordinate subcontracted testing to ensure on time delivery. Provide a high level of customer service & maintain working knowledge of relevant legislation & industry standards & trends.

Skills Requirements

As a successful candidate you will have a degree level qualification/equivalent in Food Science/Chemistry or related subject. Significant relevant experience in either accredited contract testing labs or in relevant technical role in industry. Ideally you will have proven customer service and/or project management skills in a technical environment. It is essential for you to possess a good working knowledge of chemical & micro tests as relevant to food, dairy, & environmental sectors.
