Description
We currently have a vacancy for a Café manager, however this will require an HACCP certification and some experience in setting up menus, pricing, ordering, cooking, cleaning and accounting. Provide food and beverages to customers primarily during week-end events and additionally an evening during the week. Clean kitchen and café eating area in time for event starts typically 9am on week-ends. Prepare food and beverages ready to serve by 9am on week-ends. Clean up kitchen and café after event close. Close till/register print off and cash up at the end of each day / event. Order food for delivery online in preparation for week-end. Bring fresh produce on the day of events such as milk, bread, salads. Create menu and pricing to cover costs and generate 30% gross profit to cover overheads. Create marketing ideas to attract new food customers. Create weekly metrics and forecasts for the balance of the year.
Skills Requirements
Must have the necessary certifications required to prepare and serve food. Must possess good people skills and have a pleasant service oriented personality. Must organize back-fill when unavailable for work. Must have own transport. Must be able to go online to order groceries. Profit share after 1 year subject to meeting agreed targets.
