Description

We are currently looking for a Cafe Manager to successfully manage the start up and ongoing development of a new Cafe based in NUI Galway. The Manager will be responsible for all aspects of operations, and for a team of approximately 5 full time and part time staff. They will report to the SCCUL Enterprises Account Manager. The main responsibilities will be as follows: To assist with the set up and layout of the new Cafe to maximize efficient use of space and meet Health and Safety standards. Work with all the parties involved in the start-up process to ensure the needs of the Account Manager, NUI Galway, and Customers are fully met. Assist with the recruitment, selection, induction and training of staff at startup and on an ongoing basis. Ensure implementation and adherence to policies and procedures. Experience of the catering industry. HACCP certification or knowledge. Strong organizational and administration skills. People management experience.
