Description
Take responsibility for the efficient day-to-day running of the Café. Ensure that the Café reflects companys standards of merchandising, presentation and customer care. Prepare hot and cold food as well as beverages for customer consumption to the highest standard. Responsible for food safety and hygiene at all times and adhering to the policies of the company regarding food compliance. Ensure compliance with the HACCP preventative approach to food safety. Ordering of stock from approved suppliers and in adherence to agreed product specification. Ensure there is sufficient product for sale, yet keeping wastage levels as low as possible at all times. Ensure all equipment is clean and in full working condition. Managing staff including compiling rosters and managing breaks to ensure maximum efficiency and delivery of customer service. Pro-actively deliver excellence in customer service at all times.
Skills Requirements
Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times, representing the core values of the Pelco Ltd. brand. Previous experience in a café/deli with a minimum of 1 years experience supervising a team. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, management and external suppliers. Previous experience training staff in line with company policies. Fluency in English is essential.
