We are seeking an experienced Cook to prepare and serve nutritionally balanced meals for our clients to reflect the individual needs and requests of our Clients. The successful candidate must ensure a high standard of hygiene and safety in the catering area at all times.
Desirable.
Experience working within the Intellectual Disability sector is desirable.
Experience, Skills & Attributes
Candidates must have obtained the London City & Guilds Examination No. 706/1 & No. 706/2/NCCB or such equivalent qualifications.
A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar role.
Experienced and trained in HACCP.
Experience in the planning of daily menus for Clients.
The ordering and purchasing of all food and catering provisions as required.
Processing of accounts for food and catering purchases and the control of food stocks.
Preparation and cooking of daily meals for clients as required.
The maintenance of a clean and hygienic environment in all catering areas.
The safe upkeep and storage of all cleaning materials and cleaning equipment
To ensure the regular and systematic cleaning and maintenance of the equipment in the Deli, kitchen and front of house.
Experience within a healthcare environment is preferable.
Excellent organisation & communication skills.
Perform all duties in accordance with relevant work practices adhering to set regulatory requirements.
Candidates must be flexible and reliable.
Must hold a Full Drivers Licence.
