Sous Chef – Co Cork – Hayfield Manor Hotel

The core emphasis of this role will primarily be in hands on capacity where the successful candidate will be involved in day to day cooking and running of sections etc. He/she will take instruction our new Executive Head Chef and on occasion will be responsible for the kitchen operations in the absence of Head Chef.Managing the kitchen to ensure the entire food production operation for the hotel runs smoothly and efficiently in the absence of the Head Chef. To create a good working environment in the kitchen while constantly training and monitoring the team of chefs. To ensure the food quality if to a consistently high standard. Assist in ensuring profit targets are achieved. Ensuring that all health and safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to at all times.
