Pioneer Investment Management Limited is seeking to recruit a Legal Advisor (Marketing and Distribution) to provide of legal services to the Sales and Distribution teams. This is a 6 month contract role.

Duties:

• Drafting, negotiation, control and execution of agreements relating to the distribution of funds;
• Providing legal advice and information to sales teams;
• Assist with KYC/due diligence related matters; and
• Maintain and verify client data in the contract repository system and other ad hoc duties;
• Provision of legal services to the marketing teams including review and approval of marketing material submitted for audiences and regions around the world;
• Full awareness of the internal procedures surrounding review, issue and use of marketing material including international sales guidelines;
• Maintain quality and efficiency of sign-off process for marketing material;
• Ensuring the maintenance of various marketing related support documents; and
• Assist with training of new marketing staff.

Experience and qualifications:

• Qualified lawyer;
• Preferably legal experience in a financial services environment;
• A general understanding of mutual funds a distinct advantage; and
• Experience of reviewing commercial/distribution contracts and marketing material.
