Description
Responsibilities: – Review and negotiation of contractual documentation; review of external vendor agreements and contracts; – Assisting client services teams and senior management with collation of internal operational comments on fund documentation and contracts; – Dealing with internal legal or compliance queries from operational departments; – Ensure fund documentation is properly drafted, controlled, and completed as required; – Involved in the day to day legal and regulatory matters across global jurisdictions; – Provide legal advice and coordinate with external legal council to support all business functions and management; – Prepare internal papers on new legislation which may impact the business;
Skills Requirements
Requirements: – Third level qualification (minimum 2.1 degree), ideally a certificate or diploma or equivalent in Legal Studies – 5 years experience in the Funds industry – 2 years experience with fund documentation preparation, review and approval – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Excellent negotiating skills and legal drafting skills
