The intern will gain practical experience in office administration, dealing with clients and professionals, diary management, file management, typing, dictation and general training in legal secretarial and administrative work. The intern will receive formal/informal training in the following: Receptionist duties, dictation, file management, document management, legal secretarial and administrative tasks. On completion the intern will have attained skills in client contact, receptionist duties, working with a busy solicitor, file management and general familiarity with the operation of a busy legal practice.

Skills Requirements

We require applicants with enthusiasm and a genuine interest in training and working in a busy legal office. Good typing skills and professional approach to work is required. Applicants should have good accuracy, attention to detail, a desire to improve and learn. Applicants should have a friendly and professional manner, excellent time-keeping and ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
