Real Estate Lawyer – Leman Solicitors – Dublin

Leman Solicitors advises a range of real estate clients, from the experienced developer to the first-time tenant.

The successful candidate will lead and manage a range of acquisition, sale and development transactions on behalf of our clients and the role will include:

Investigation of title, preparing and reviewing reports and certificates of title and lease reports, drafting, negotiation and review of contracts for sale and security documents;
Mixed-use and residential developments;
Drafting development scheme documentation including transfers and leases, easements, options and transfer of common areas. Corporate real estate due diligence in relation to the sale and purchase of companies advising and drafting warranties relating to property, title remediation and planning matters;
Construction law to include advice, drafting, review and negotiation of letters of intent, appointments, statutory appointments and collateral warranties;
Management of a small team within a department, reporting to and working alongside the Head of Department;
Business development for the team and participation in tenders and pitches.

Beyond this, there are a number of knowledge and experience requirements for the role:

Minimum of 5 years’ post qualification experience working in real estate at a medium or large law firm;
Experience of leading on and/or performing the second in command role on complex real estate projects;
Strong relationship management skills;
Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative;
Superb organisational skills;
Good understanding of and interest in technology;
Self-starter, commercially aware and client focused;
Enthusiastic regarding business development and with significant previous experience of a wide range of business development activities; and
Experience of supervising more junior lawyers and trainees.
