The Activities Coordinator is to develop and facilitate programmes, which meet the needs of the entire residents population, and implement the programming model. The Activities Coordinator will: While performing duties ensure that resident?s privacy and dignity are maintained. Oversee, coordinate and implement appropriate recreational, physical and individualised activities program for the residents of Beech Lodge Nursing Home. Undertake a complete activity assessment of new residents upon admission and to use this to provide a program that matches the needs and likes of the resident. Encourage involvement from the residents of Beech Lodge Care Facility. Liaise with local library services in assisting residents selecting and returning library books and or any other facility they provide. Report any concerns about a resident to the lead nurse in charge. Be aware of the confidential nature of the work and in particular, the right of residents to confidentiality.
