Administrator – Law Society of Ireland – Dublin

Due to the nature of the work, the diploma centre demands an ability to work well under pressure, good time management and organisational skills and a willingness to work flexible hours (occasional Saturday and evening work will be required). The job will involve assisting the Marketing Manager in the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of a busy marketing schedule. The job will also require general administrative duties as may be assigned from time to time in relation to all aspects of course delivery.

Post duration:
2 year fixed term contract.

Main duties and key responsibilities:
The successful candidate will carry out the following duties in line with the Society’s standards and strategic objectives and as directed by the Head of Diplomas:
Supporting the Marketing Manager to ensure implementation of marketing strategies for the Diploma Centre’s academic programmes and events;
Co-ordinate Diploma Centre events which include: open days, alumni evenings and conferral ceremonies;
Attend conferences, career/graduate fairs and expos throughout the year to promote the Diploma Centre;
Assist in the production of promotional materials and publications;
Manage invoice tracking for marketing activities;
Assist in delivering the Diploma Centre’s digital marketing strategy;
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of all promotional activity;
Support Course Leaders in a full range of administrative activities;
Work closely with the Diploma Programme and Operations Manager to ensure implementation of best practice in relation to course administration;
Facilitating the efficient and effective use of the Society’s virtual learning environment (HUB).

Knowledge and skills:
Ability to work autonomously and in teams;
Demonstrable proficiency in using database and spreadsheet systems;
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks;
Strong interpersonal and ICT skills;
Knowledge of third level/professional education systems desirable.

Education:
Third level qualification or equivalent (preferred).
