Description

The position is for an Administrator to operate the reception and information centre for a busy community based organisation. Key duties will involve: answering the phone, welcoming walk in customers to the centre, providing information on services. Administration support for the centre and staff therein, including typing, filing, photocopying etc. PR and advertising of the services, attend community meetings, to meet with communities, groups, agencies etc to see how they can be resourced by NEKD. To promote NEKD services/programmes. This is a Community Services Programme funded by Pobal. Please contact the employer for eligibility criteria.

Skills Requirements

Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written. A level of fluency in the Irish language is desirable. A knowledge of IT packages such as Microsoft word, excel, access and outlook. An interest in the local community. Community Services Programme eligibility criteria apply.
