Role
Assist in the coordination of the day to day administrative activities of SOS. This includes, but is not limited to, administration duties, composing letters, reports, advertisements etc. and maintaining a good filing system.
Managing and monitoring incoming mail, email and phones ensuring that all are handled in an efficient manner in relation to the Code of Ethics and Good Practice of SOS.
Liaise with different organisations and personnel in a professional/supportive manner and to act as liaison person between external personnel and organisations and SOS Management and staff.
Work as part of a team in the coordination of fundraising events
Liaise with design agency on promotional materials
Writing & editing of content for SOS website & social media posts
Be able to provide information such as weekly and monthly reports and to integrate data into spreadsheets, and to manage databases.
Flexibility (including occasionally, flexibility of working hours) and when required, cover any and all other duties assigned to you by the team manager.

Essential
Very strong administration experience: Minimum 4/5 years’ experience in a busy office atmosphere. Must be able to multitask and prioritise a very busy workload.
Excellent proficiency in MS office is essential
Strong experience of social media platforms to include Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIN, Instagram etc.
Experience of maintaining websites and WordPress
Strong ability to work independently, post induction
Commitment to confidentiality and discretion
Must have own transport
Person Specification
Genuine interest in the work of Suicide or Survive and Mental Health
Possess a high level of IT literacy and experienced in using Word, Excel, and Power Point, etc. Must be a strong team player, self – motivated, diligent and strong ability to work on own initiative
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to work to tight deadlines in a very fast paced office environment
Display excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to make decisions, take the initiative and use problem-solving skills.
Dependable and flexible and capable of working in a team orientated environment
