Responsibilities
The individual will be expected to assist the CEO to:
Creatively drive forward the Strategic Plan by expanding the programme offered to include Fine art, film, drama etc. for the duration of the three year plan.
Manage the day-to-day running of the Centre and deal with all relevant administration associated with the role.
To roll out a publicity/marketing plan and administer the plan
To create and administer the digital media platforms
To have video recording and video editing skills.
Carry out regular research in the community.
To adhere to the ethos of St. Agnes’ CCMA.
It would be advantageous if the candidate had working knowledge of the Irish language for translation purposes.
Key requirements will include:
A third level Qualification in an Arts or Music field (Music, Literature, Fine Art, Film etc)
Must have at least 5 years’ experience administering and managing a comparable programme
Knowledge of all relevant legislation pertaining to the running of a Company Limited by Guarantee
An understanding of equality issues
Actively seek funding strands for the sustainability of the CCMA and have experience of completing funding applications.
Have knowledge of various research methodologies and experience of carrying out research.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Access, Word and Outlook, Kdenlive, Gimp. Knowledge of other Graphic packages would be an advantage.
Ability to create a website and managing social media for PR and communication purposes
Ability to prepare detailed reports and presentations for the Board of Management
Excellent communication skills. Well organised and flexible, the ability to work well in a team, as well as independently.
Self-motivation, initiative and confidence essential
Salary will depend on experience
