The person appointed will work closely with the Centre Manager and the voluntary management committee to maintain the efficient running of the centre and to ensure its further development in line with the needs of the community. This is a Maternity Leave Cover.
The ideal candidate should have:
Good organisational skills
Good communications skills
The ability to work on own initiative
Good knowledge of the local community
Interest in the community ethos and health promotion elements of the centre.
Experience and ability to deal with the public
Secretarial and Reception skills
Accounts and accounts software experience necessary
Computer proficient, with ECDL
Previous Experience in a similar role
Duties will include:
Accounts and record keeping
Reporting to funders
Liaising with members of the public
Dealing with bookings for the centre and its facilities
Assisting the manager in the running of the building.
Assist in management of the centre’s operational budget
Assist in development of projects and funding applications.
Any other duties
The Centre Administrator will work a minimum of twenty-five hours per week in a flexible manner that may include evenings and other times, in accordance with the service needs.
Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
