The successful candidate must have:
Experience of and desire to be a leader and a team player
Flexibility, self-motivation, initiative and drive.
Qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care Level 7/8
5 years previous experience working in a busy childcare setting including room leader and supervisory experience
Knowledge and experience of working with the Aistear Curriculum Framework and following Siolta Quality Guidelines
Awareness of the role of Policies and Procedures within a busy childcare setting.
Knowledge and experience of working with POBAL, PIP, Better Start and AIMS would be an advantage
Prior experience of a supervisory or room leader role, ideally management experience
Excellent interaction and communication skills – fluent in both spoken and written English
Full, clean driving licence and be a confident driver
