Exchange House Ireland National Travellers Service has been providing services for Travellers since 1980. We are the largest front line Travellers specific service in the country. We pride ourselves in working with some of the most marginalised members of the Traveller community. With a staff in excess of 60, our services include: social work, family support, crisis intervention, mental health and suicide, domestic violence, prison support, addiction services, children and young peoples’ services, EU programmes, after-schools and adult education and training. We have recently drafted our Strategic Plan 2015-2017 in line with the changing environment and emerging needs of our client group.
Exchange House Ireland now wishes to recruit a
Chief Executive Officer
who has the dynamism and vision to lead the organisation into a new era of service provision to the Traveller community in Dublin and nationally.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role or be educated to a master’s degree level or equivalent or in exceptional circumstances a candidate may be appointed who does not hold a degree but who possesses a very considerable amount of job-related experience. They will be highly motivated and enthusiastic, used to thinking strategically and committed to reflective practice.
The salary will be in the range of €63,886 – €73,754 as per HSE Principal Social Worker scale commensurate with qualifications and experience
