SALARY RANGE: €50,000 – €60,000

MISSION STATEMENT & VALUES

The mission or purpose of Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Ireland is to provide information, support and advice to people with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus, their parents and carers, as well as to promote social inclusion and equality for people with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus in Irish society.

Our vision is that people with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus will participate to their fullest potential in all aspects of life.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the successful candidate will be expected to have:

Significant, demonstrable achievements at senior management level in the voluntary or disability sector.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of the role, not-for-profit sector and key governance challenges.
A successful track record in building and nurturing key relationships and partnerships with a wide range of diverse collaborators within government, not-for-profit sectors at national and local level.
A relevant third level or professional qualification with extensive administrative skills and experience in budgeting /management accounting.
Demonstrable financial management skills to ensure effective budgetary planning, resource management and value-for-money
Demonstrable ability for originality and innovation in order to capitalise on future challenges and opportunities and to lead the organisation.
Proven skills in leadership, HR, planning and decision-making
Proven administrative skills to ensure the organisation is operated in an efficient and accountable manner
Proficient with Microsoft Office programmes, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
