Waterford & South Tipperary Community Youth Service (a Member of Youth Work Ireland) is a long established community based youth organisation serving the catchment area of Waterford City and County and part of South Tipperary. WSTCYS is now recruiting for the position of:

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Applications are invited from highly motivated professionals to lead WSTCYS into its next phase of development. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and ongoing development of the Organisation and the implementation of its Strategic Plan.

Candidates will possess:

Demonstrable experience of senior management
Proven background of successful leadership, including change management
Capacity to develop strategic relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders
Excellent communication, planning  and project management skills
Keen analytical, evaluation and financial management skills
Strong people management skills; a demonstrated ability to achieve results through others
Knowledge and experience of the youth work/ voluntary / not for profit sector
Third level qualification in a relevant discipline

Salary will be commensurate with skills and experience of the successful candidate.
