Our Resettlement & Tenancy Support Service focuses on supporting people through their transition to independent living when moving out of homelessness. The service is delivered in a range of ways including regular home visits, appointments, and ongoing telephone contact. We are currently recruiting for a;
Client Services Team Leader – Resettlement and Tenancy Support
This role will have responsibility for leading the operation and further development of COPE Galway’s offering to single person households in the areas of resettlement, tenancy support and transitional accommodation.
A detailed job description and person specification is available to download below but requirements include:
Third level qualification in Social Studies/Care, Community Development or equivalent
A working knowledge of homeless and housing legislation and regulations and an up to date knowledge of best practice in the area of homeless services
A minimum of one year’s experience working in a management or supervisory role
A minimum of two years recent experience in a resettlement and/or tenancy sustainment/support role with people who are homeless
Understanding of why people become homeless and the related health, welfare and support needs they have
Contract: Permanent.
Hrs of Work: 39 hours per week.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
