The position:
The Corporate Group acts for a wide range of clients in all industry sectors ranging from multinational companies and government bodies to entrepreneurs. Due to their continued growth and ambitious plans for the future, they have an immediate vacancy for a Solicitor to join their growing Corporate and Commercial Unit. This would be an ideal opportunity for an experienced Solicitor who is keen to progress in a forward-thinking firm.
The successful candidate will gain invaluable experience in:
Commercial and corporate transactions;
Commercial contracts;
Outsourcing arrangements;
M & A transactions in retail, IT, and energy sectors;
Venture capital/corporate finance transactions
Renewable energy;
Project finance;
Project sales and acquisitions;
Energy regulatory issues.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
4+ years’ minimum experience in commercial law;
A strong commercial focus and business acumen;
Ability to foster trusted relationships with clients;
Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail;
Strong organisational and time management skills;
Team player with strong communication skills and ambitions to progress their career;
An excellent work ethic with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and approach to work.
