The Role:
In this role you will be supporting one lady as she prepares to move into her new home. This lady is very well connected in her local community and loves nothing more than walking her little dog Teddy. In order to live in her own home this lady requires support in different aspects of her life including household chores, meal planning/preparation, cooking, medication management and personal care in line with her needs.
The Person:
Successful candidates will be people who share our beliefs that people with a disability are entitled to live full and inclusive lives in the community. You will be flexible, reliable, and prepared to work nights, evenings, weekends and public holidays.The ideal candidate will be patient, social, pro-active, and have the ability to operate independently with good use of initiative.
We are seeking experienced candidates who can support and encourage this lady as required in the above role profile. Ideally you will be a lover of pets including small dogs. Knowledge and interests in concerts, theatre, restaurants and the local area is ideal but not essential.
Salary range: Dependent on experience
