Studio III Kerry Project are delighted to be hiring for the following positions which will be based in Tralee Town.

1 Community Support Worker Day Position (part time)
3 Community Support Worker evening & Overnight (on call) positions (part time)
The candidates will be responsible for enabling a young man with autism to live independently in his own home as well as to support him in creating and fostering community connections and relationships in the Tralee area.

The successful candidate will have
Experience of helping people with disabilities engage in the community and live independently
Experience of working with behaviours that can challenge and an understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with autism spectrum conditions.
Skills and experience that may inspire and motivate a person with an autism spectrum diagnosis
A full clean driving licence is essential
Overnight (On-call) shift will follow the evening shift but will be located in candidates own home. Evening shift will be direct client support. The candidate will need to be available to tend to the client in cases of emergencies from 10pm-9am. Therefore, it is important that the candidate live in the Tralee area with access to a car. The position would suit a student studying either Social Care, Youth and Community or similar however all applications are welcomed.
