Cork Simon Community are currently seeking applications for the position of Corporate Partnerships Manager (permanent contract, 35 hours per week):
Role Objective: Working to the Cork Simon Fundraising Strategy and as a member of the Fundraising team, the Corporate Partnerships Manager will achieve targets by developing, maintaining and optimising partnerships with the corporate sector. S/he will contribute to the development of and manage and implement relevant elements of the Cork Simon Community Fundraising Strategy. S/he will manage activities and outputs and develop high-quality processes and structures to deliver optimal partnerships from corporate activity.
Some of the key tasks include:
Contribute to the ongoing development of, and implement, existing corporate partnerships, strategy and operational plan, CSR Programme, Corporate Volunteering Programme etc.
Keep abreast of trends and developments in corporate fundraising and the corporate sector, evaluate opportunities that these present for adding value to Cork Simon activities and in consultation with the Head of Fundraising change existing activities or implement new activities as a result
Maintain and build on existing corporate partnerships and devise and secure new partnerships
Cultivate new relationships with corporate contacts
Develop and implement a range of appropriate tailored programmes and packages to maximise opportunities for corporate partnerships
Liaise with Campaigns and Communications team to develop a comprehensive media and PR programme, monitor outcomes and make recommendations as required
Ensure the Cork Simon Business Partnership Group and various event committees receive adequate and appropriate administrative support
Provide regular relevant reports on activities to Head of Fundraising
Develop and implement individual stewardship programmes for corporate partners
Liaise with Head of Fundraising to set achievable targets for corporate partnerships and activity
Person specification:
Candidates will have:
Excellent knowledge of regional business/corporate sector
A minimum of one year’s experience in at least one of the following areas: Fundraising, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or appropriate transferable experience.
A third level qualification
Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
Excellent team building and stewardship skills
The ability to maximise networking opportunities
