Deputy Manager – Novas – McGarry House

The ideal candidate will have:
Third level qualification-minimum Level 8 preferably in social care or equivalent and capable of CORU registration.
Minimum of three years’ experience of working with single homeless people, substance users and/or other socially marginalised groups as a social care worker, one year preferably in a supervisory role.
Availability to work varying shifts including early, late, waking night shifts.
Demonstrate the ability to treat the client group in a non- judgmental way from a trauma informed perspective, which under pins Novas service delivery.
Understanding of a low threshold service and harm reduction model of working.
Strong interpersonal, leadership, teamwork and conflict resolution skills.
An ability to understand, prevent, manage and respond to challenging behavior.
Full clean driving license and use of own vehicle.
