Development and Support Workers – SPECS – Bray Area Partnership

Bray Area Partnership (BAP) is seeking applications for the SPECS Initiative Development and Support Worker vacancies (2 Full Time equivalents).

Bray Area Partnership (BAP) is the lead body in a consortium of local community projects and statutory agencies developing the SPECS Initiative, which focuses on evidence based early intervention and prevention work with families to achieve better outcomes for children.

The initiative is funded under the Government’s Area Based Childhood (ABC) Programme, with co-funding from the Dept. of Children and Youth Affairs and Atlantic Philanthropies.

SPECS takes a positive, strengths based approach to supporting families and engaging with other agencies. The ideal candidate for the Development and Support Worker post will be a flexible team player, with excellent communication skills and experience of working utilising evidence based supports with children and families in a social inclusion context.
