ActionAid is a global movement of people working together to further human rights and defeat poverty for all. Reporting through the Chairman to the Board of Trustees, the person appointed will be responsible for the overall management, control and operation of the organisation, in accordance with the policies and objectives set out by the Board.
Candidates will be able to demonstrate senior management expertise in the delivery of strategic plans and in leading professional teams. They will also have experience in income generation strategies, financial management and an understanding of the requirements of good governance. Strong empathy with the vision, mission and values of ActionAid is required together with persuasive communication and influencing skills.
