Donor Care Executive – Dublin Simon Community

We have an exciting opportunity for a Donor Care Executive whose Role is responsible for delivering the database, administrative and financial function within the Fundraising Department, and providing a multitude of donor care services.

Working in a professional role and environment, core responsibilities include:
Support the delivery of direct marketing campaigns and communication with donors by ensuring high quality data entry and championing the use of Raisers Edge Database.
Process all donations, including online payments, direct debits and standing orders.
Work across fundraising and finance to ensure accurate recording of payments.
Assist with the monthly reconciliation with the finance analyst.
Support our target of acknowledging and thanking donors by opening, sorting and recording direct marketing and other fundraising post.
Act as a key point of contact for donors, fundraisers and visitors, to the office and at events, by welcoming and engaging them in a genuine and open manner.
Efficiently respond to fundraising phone calls so all queries and donations are dealt with in a proactive and effective manner.
Effectively ensure the office is organised and ready to deal with the next campaign/mailing by conducting office duties such as filing, petty cash, shredding, franking post etc.
Support the delivery of key fundraising and other ad-hoc events by working across teams in the Fundraising and Communications Department at different times of the year.
Ensure fundraisers and volunteers are equipped with the required fundraising materials to hold events.
Work out of office hours to assist with the successful delivery of fundraising events etc.
We are looking for an individual with 1-3 years office experience working on Databases. You must have keen attention to detail and good numeracy skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines, in a pressurised environment. A qualification in Marketing/PR/Sales/Events or similar and experience of working in fundraising and/or the non profit sector are desirable.
