Due to Fieldfisher’s continued growth and ambitious plans for the future, they have an immediate vacancy for a Solicitor to join their growing Employment Law Unit. This would be an ideal opportunity for a Solicitor with existing specialist employment law experience who is keen to progress in a forward-thinking firm. While ideally this would be a full time role, Fieldfisher will also consider applications from candidates on a part time basis.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
2+ years’ specialist experience in employment law ideally with a top tier firm or boutique employment law practice (although all suitably qualified, including more experienced candidates will be fully considered);
Excellent client management and relationship skills;
Ability to advise both an employer or alternatively an employee client base;
An entrepreneurial spirit, a commercial focus and business acumen;
Team player with strong communication skills and ambitions to progress their career;
An excellent work ethic with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and approach to work.

The successful candidate will gain invaluable experience in:
Employment claims before the Workplace Relations Commission, the Labour Court and the Civil Courts;
Employer and employee advice on all aspects of employment law;
Executive employment contracts;
Settlements and severance agreements;
Employment law support to other departments including on commercial transactions;
Ad hoc activities as required.
