EU Projects Co-ordinator – Ballymun Job Centre

The successful candidate will be expected to:
Work with the Manager, Project & HR Manager and staff in the BJC to ensure the successful implementation of the tasks that the BJC has to undertake in its role as a partner to a number of EU Projects
Work with transnational partners on the implementation of the Projects
Develop and maintain relationships with National support agencies
Attend transnational partner meetings and make a positive contribution to the meetings in order to assist the partners to successfully implement and achieve the Projects’ objectives
Work with other staff to develop project proposals for submission for funding.
Assist in the writing of documentation and reports relating to projects’ activities
Present the projects’ outcomes and activities at relevant seminars, conferences and transnational meetings
Assist in the project administration and management
The ideal candidate should have experience of/or an interest in working with people or on behalf of people who are disadvantaged in the labour market; have excellent interpersonal, research, communication and IT skills; have a relevant qualification in Social Policy/Psychology/Career Guidance and must be interested in and prepared to travel to locations in Europe.
This position is offered on an initial one-year fixed term contract. Garda Vetting will be required on appointment.
Salary will be in the range of: €34,123 to €44,019 depending on experience.
